QRC Old Boys Exhibit at the National Museum:
Wednesday 12th to Wednesday 26th -
Four old boys of Queen's Royal College have
come together at the National Museum to produce an exhibition of QRC
photos, art and memorabilia to commemorate the 100th anniversary of
establishment of the school's main building.
Reginald Dumas, Karl Hudson-Phillips, Garth Alleyne and Lloyd Best, in
collaboration with the National Museum, have assembled rare documents
items of interest which constitute various aspects of the college's
history. The exhibition will also feature works of art from QRC old
have become leading artists in Trinidad and Tobago, including Jackie
Peter Minshall, Che Lovelace and Guy Beckles.
The four organizers have also been working on a book to commemorate
anniversary. The book will be available later in the year, and the
from the sale will go to the college.
