Fanzine for Lush and Sing-Sing.

No spam please, spammers WILL BE BANNED.

One fateful day, back in the spring of 1996, I took a shopping trip into London. I went into this touristy gift shop in Oxford Street, near HMV and The Plaza. The song being played was ‘Ciao!’ and the band was Lush.

I vaguely knew who Lush were, as I’d already heard ‘Ladykillers’ on the radio and I’d read somewhere that Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), would be dueting with Miki. Although I’d never heard ‘Ciao!’ before, I new that the song playing had to be the one I’d read about. I stood there mesmerised, and listened to the rest of the album.

Many moons ago now, I made the momentous decision to get a computer. Partly because I thought it would help me track down all the Lush material that I couldn't find, and partly because I wanted to find out whether there were any other Lush fans out there.

Thanks to the web, I've found live shows, photos, loads of Lush memorabilia, website and MANY OTHER LUSH FANS! And back in 2005, I had the chance to support Emma & Lisa, with their fab album "Sing-Sing And I."

My reason for starting this group? I wanted to share all the memorabilia I'd found with other fans, and an internet group seemed like the best way of doing that. Over the years, I've posted many items here (mainly digital scans of photo and interviews), and have now finally run out of things to post! If anyone has anything they would like to contribute, please get in touch. Alternatively, please take a look at Bill S's wonderful Lush site at: www.lightfromadeadstar.org/
Chances are, any Lush realted material that's not posted here, will be on Bill's site!

Thanks to all those people who've helped me out over the years, your support is greatly appreciated. This has changed my life.

PS: Emma is on facebook, if you want to look her up!
