Group Description

Daily email with 2 SHORT lessons on Shmirat HaLashon, to help us learn theoretical and practical elements of speaking constructively.

These lessons cover the various aspects of speech - positive speech, negative speech, prevention, speaking to people, about people, what not to say, what we should say etc. We go through various books and sources. Sometimes as we move through one book we focus more on a certain aspect of speech.
I know many people have different interests in what they want to learn or what they think shmirat halashon is. Hang in there, it all gets covered. But, as always, i am open to suggestions and feedback.

Sources used include:
Words that Hurt Words that Heal by Joseph Telushkin
Purity of Speech by C.T. Friedman

Positive Word Power by Rabbi Zelig Pliskin
