Go ahead and vote, it's all for fun
- Greetings to the members of probe control. It's been a while since I've posted anything, but I really enjoyed reading all the messages and most important... a warm welcome to all the new members. One of the great things about this site is that so many people where shocked that anyone remebered the show. For 2 decades, me and my older brother thought we were the only people in the world that remebered this show! When I stumbled on to this site, it felt like I had some old friends. I didn't remember many of the episodes and I didn't even about now that there was second probe control room. As kid remember watching Grover get his Corvette stolen in "A Honeymoon to Kill". I remember Cameron being under all those lights in "Moment of Madness" and was scared to death ( I was very, very young)when the Frogmen knocked Lockwood out and threw him overboard in "Suffer my Child." Seeing these episodes again were really refreshing. Anyway, since SEARCH was never shown in syndication in the U.S. and little material exsist, it's fun when someone discovers some memorabilia. The site has always been a blast. We have some very talent and intelligent people who have contributed to this site. Look what has been accomplished: intelligent writes ups on certain episodes, an incredible Search painting created from a T.V. guide cover, the the creative VHS cover, and most importantly, a very cool web site, the scripts from the show, and most important, the chance to see 17 of the 23 classic episodes. All of this thanks to some really good people. Whats my point: I just wanted to say thanks for taking me back to my childhood to something I really enjoyed. Everything on this site is for fun, that why when have these voting polls, it's just for fun and nothing else more. Sure, the probe control room and computer was the real star of the show, but the competent actors and good scripts brought the show to life. So come on, go ahead and vote.
It's all for fun.
- Hello to all in Probe Control,
Until I found your group I've had nothing to remind me of "Search"
for all these years, except an old audiocassette I taped of the
episode "Moonrock". It's been fun going through all the files,
downloading photos and music cues. Thanks to everyone who has
contributed to the files section. I've also enjoyed the message
exchange. There's nothing I can really contribute at this time, so I
thought the least I could do is speak up, say hello, and cast a vote
