That certainly would answer HOB's complaint that the bad guys never had a chance with all of World Securities' technology...although I personally disagree with that.For those not familiar with the movie, the lead has a mission in China, and they insert a transmitter in his head so they can hear everything he hears. But they cannot talk to him. So aside from setting up a boarder crossing at the end of the movie, they cannot communicate with him or assist him.I also wonder if the limitations in the movie were more along the lines that Hugh O'Brian would have liked better ("too much Control and not enough Probe.")After years of folks talking about it here, I finally watched The Chairman.I definitely see the similarities with Search.
