- Hello Group!

I discovered a Cunningham chain of length 5 (CC5) with 1183 digits:

4250172704*2^n*2749#-1, n=0,1,2,3,4.

This is not only a new record for CC5 but also a new record for 5 simultaneous primes with 1184 digits.

Regards,

All 5 primes should be submitted to The Prime Pages.

Second, as Jens (and you) stated, you are claiming a chain, not a single prime--so submit the chain to get credit at the Prime Pages. (To verify the claim of a chain, all five primes must be checked--the auto verifier is not smart enough to know unless you tell it what the primes are. And the comment lint will not give you credit for the chain unless there is a chain submitter.)
