      563 PRP's of the form 10^n+x and 10^n-y
where 10^n+x is the least PRP past 10^n
and 10^n-y is the greatest PRP before 10^n
were averaged from Patrick De Geest's database
      and Milton L. Brown's values.

The average value of x was 22895
and the average value of y was -23456 (!!)

The average Gap size was 46351
with a low Gap of 1088 at 10^10459
and a high Gap of 211300 at 10^10295.

These values give 10^n+n*ln(10) and 10^n-n*ln(10)
on the average. And, an average Gap of 2n*ln(10).
