Group Description

The Preemie-L Discussion Forum supports families of premature babies while the babies are in hospital and as they grow up. Discussions are focussed on the experience of prematurity for family, the babies themselves, and friends.

The Forum generates a high volume of mail and we recommend you set your subscription to "No email, web only". For instructions on this and answers to other common questions, please refer to http://www.preemie-l.org/forumFAQ.html

Please send an introduction to the group soon after joining.

Please keep religious statements low-key. We are a large group with diverse beliefs and our common ground is the experience of prematurity. In the interests of harmony and respect for our differences, please focus on our common ground.

This doesn't mean never mention religion, just try to keep it low key and considerate. If you are unsure what this means, please contact one of the moderators.

We kindly request that all new members take a moment to review the list of community guidelines at http://www.preemie-l.org/forumrules.html. These guidelines have been created over the years to create the harmonious and supportive community we enjoy on preemie-l. Questions should be directed to the any moderator of the group.
If you are joining this group intending to survey the membership for school projects, research papers, etc, you must first contact the list owner at preemie-list-owner@yahoogroups.com to ask permission.
