Sports complexes using strawbale walls
Do any subscribers here know of an existing example of an indoor sports facility that incorporates straw bales in its insulation and walls?

In Ontario there are also a few I can think of:
-the single straw bale wall in Mountain Equipment Co-op's large format
Ottawa retail store (see www.smartarchitecture.ca)
-Camel's Back Construction did a straw infill of a powersports sales
and repair shop, Motohoude, near Trenton and a large horse arena near
-we completed a 75'x200' half earth bermed (8' bermed concrete, 8'
high bale walls above) horse riding arena near Guelph. So far in its
first winter, the indoor temperature hasn't dipped below freezing
despite outdoor temperatures below -10 to -20 celcius We will have
pictures and information on this project on our (finally) updated
website by early March
