Finally putting in my 2 cents worth.  Maybe this year, a donation to the victims of the Camp fire would be appropriate since we are a Northern California organization.  Not attached to it, just an idea.

Hello PPOCDers,

Every year the club gives away money earned all year to charities. These charities are selected from nominations from our club members.

Please send in your charity nominations to Treasurer@... by January 11, 2019. Please include a little information about the charity and/or the website address.

The Board will go over all of the nominations at the January meeting and try to give to as many as possible. The announcement of the selected charities will be made at the Club's Annual General Meeting on January 27, 2019.

All 501(c)(3) charities (people, animal, environmental) are eligible.

NOTE: The Club is a Sacramento Zoo parent of a Green-Billed Parrot and donates to the zoo every year.

I've attached a list for new members of the charities that PPOCD has donated to for the last 3 years.
