Me too! I use powerpro every day and on every computer on Win7 x64. Mostly I use it for custom toolbars and menus. (Hi all! Yes I'm still lurking)

What I suspect that setting does is make powerpro think it is running under xp so it won't use any of the win7 dialogs etc. As well, it will talk to windows

Trying I found that it works if i set "Powerpro.exe" in xp sp3 compatibility mode. Do it have contraindications. What can I try to work normally?

Also, if you are running PowerPro as admin (elevated), try without that.

Works for me I am afraid. Do a fresh install to a new folder and see if that helps. There is a special dll that has to be in place from later versions.
