All 6 bowls were perfect after glaze firing. The cracks (through the entire 3/16" thickness of the clay) developed after weeks or months of use. The bowls

I lined the bowl with plastic, did not use any oil or other release. I didn't wedge the clay, but was using a new bag of clay, which usually is ready to go. I

cracking corners

I made a set of 6 square bowls about a year ago. Low fire clay, slabs cut to a pattern and fitted (wet) into a drop mold (a melamine bowl from Target).
