      Hi,

I use postfix in solaris 9 operating system.

This morning in maillog i read:

Sep 1 03:11:32 first postfix/qmgr[28676]: [ID 947731 local4.crit] fatal: stream_connect: send file descriptor: Resource temporarily unavailable
      Sep 1 03:11:33 first postfix/master[25691]: [ID 947731 local4.warning] warning: process /opt/postfix/libexec/qmgr pid 28676 exit status 1

      and mailserver didn't work.

      After restart it worked.

      Any ideas?

Your KERNEL reported to Postfix that it failed to perform some KERNEL
request because the KERNEL was running out of something.

Reduce the Postfix process limits, or increase KERNEL limits in
        /etc/system and reboot.
