Demo of our working prototype went extremely well. The presentation didn't take the "podium" presentation as planned by Clermont. The 75-100 visitors strolled around. Many stopped by the prototype for explanations and to watch the engine run thru its paces. It was the first time that the engine, controller and paddle wheel had run together. Lonnie, you'll like this one. One of the visitors was the great-great grandson of Robert Fulton's great-great grandson. He heard about the display and said that he had to stop by Clermont and say hello. I invited him to the official presentation next May. He was extremely appreciative. Funny things happen! The little guy standing on the engine is Bob. He is to the scale of the model. 1/12th. He represents a Victorian period man who stands 5'8' -5'9' tall. He'll stand on the deck on the final version of the display.
