When I was on 6v, I started the car several times on 12v including jump starts. The only damage was to the dome light. Odd thing was I never gave it a thought.

hard to tell since we're not there with you, go ahead and hook up the voltage reducer to those two gauges and start it up again. if the gauges act normal, then

the part group is 0.649, the part number is 907109, 1941 to 1956 pontiacs standard or hydra-matic except 1956 controlled coupling (strato-flight hydra-matic).

You're welcome.  That bulb should only draw a couple of amps, so a low amperage fuse (5 amps or less) should work fine.  On Friday, August 22, 2014 9:44 AM,
