      Jamie Clements, who, at age 20, became the youngest person ever elected to the TX house of representatives (1951-1957), died February 26, 2009 at his home in Temple. He also served two terms as mayor of Temple (1970-1974). He was born December 9, 1930 in Crockett to Neal Williams and Alberta Hager Clements. He served 30 years as attorney and general counsel for Scott & White Hospital in Temple and was a professor of medical jurisprudence at TX A&M University College of Medicine. Marine Corps vet. Memorial service at Grace Presbyterian Church, Temple. Burial in Texas State Cemetery, Austin. Arrangements handled by Scanio-Harper Funeral Home, Temple.
