      The Mad Poets Society is pleased to welcome Daniel Simpson, to their mic. Simpson has
      studied poetry with Judith Moffett and Gregory Djanikian while earning an M.A. in English
      at the University of Pennsylvania. For the past five years, he has apprenticed with Molly
      Peacock in poetry and memoir writing. His work has appeared in
      Prairie Schooner, The Cortland Review, Hampden-Sydney Poetry Review, The Atlanta
      Review, and Philomel, among others. He is nearing completion of a memoir
      about the ten years he and his brother lived at the Overbrook School for the Blind. In
      2003, he received a Fellowship in Literature from the Pennsylvania
      Council on the Arts.
