    You ever…?

You ever miss someone so f’n bad

It’s like you can’t ever get over it?

Holes and voids will ne’er fill up

‘Cause of the connection you felt

You ever wish there was someway

    The heart would reveal everything?

    Miles and miles; distances beyond

The missing is so deeply riveting

You ever want so bad to be near

Them and see their smiling face?

To be consoled when you need some

Comfort or stay in their embrace

You ever see their face in crowds,

In the countryside or in mountains?

Even in the rippling water way you

Peer into, there you view them again

You ever try to block your memory

Of their presence that lingers on?

But the hurt, yearning, just keeps

    Churning, even when they’re gone

You ever wish with all your strength

That you could just no longer ache

For them anymore; to trudge on in life

Knowing your love will ne’er forsake

              You ever…?

You ever miss someone so f’n bad

It’s like you can’t ever get over it?

Holes and voids will ne’er fill up

‘Cause of the connection you felt

You ever wish there was someway

              The heart would reveal everything?

              Miles and miles; distances beyond

The missing is so deeply riveting

You ever want so bad to be near

Them and see their smiling face?

To be consoled when you need some

Comfort or stay in their embrace

You ever see their face in crowds,

In the countryside or in mountains?

Even in the rippling water way you

Peer into, there you view them again

You ever try to block your memory

Of their presence that lingers on?

But the hurt, yearning, just keeps

              Churning, even when they’re gone

You ever wish with all your strength

That you could just no longer ache

For them anymore; to trudge on in life

Knowing your love will ne’er forsake
