- "Podcasters" is a mailing list for podcasters and podcast listeners to
communicate about... podcasting!
Share links to newly discovered podcasts, your experiences with
podcasting software and hardware, or ask others questions about what
you need to put together a podcast of your own.
The mailing list was created by Andrew Clarke and began in September

- The only time someone would bother with auditions would be if they're doing a play or scripted material. But those podcasts have become fairly rare. They just take too much work to do for the size of the audience you get. And you're now competing with streaming video of TV shows and movies. But there are a few around. Typically they're looking for female voices when they do. The best thing to do is to contact the podcasts and ask them, but expect rejection as they probably have all the voices they need.
