Actually, I not only wrote code to emit enclosure elements, but I wrote an aggregator that gathers them.

Here's a screen shot of the prefs page for enclosures in Radio. The feature has been there since some time in 2001 (almost four years now).

The other side of my "labor of love" are the podcasts, btw. People seem to judge my work only on the technical side, I guess that's understandable, but I think my podcasts were crucial in getting the ball rolling. Adam would call me up after every one and tell me what he was learning from them. He was pretty excited. Me too, those were heady days.

BTW, not just Adam, Steve Gillmor too, which everyone seems to omit from their histories. The Gillmor Gang was an inspiration for all of us.

Did you do some technical that we don't know about, Dave? All I'm
aware of is writing the enclosure definition back in '03, then sitting
on it until Adam made the breakthrough last summer. Frankly, it was
obvious last spring that you hadn't written code to either emit or
process enclosures, otherwise the idea of null attribute values
wouldn't have come as a shock.

      Thanks.
