      Ploticus isn't built-in to PHP or ASP, and always runs as a separately
      invoked process. You should be able to run ploticus in CGI mode from
      PHP/ASP by generating HTML that looks like this:

      <img src="http://abc.com/cgi-bin/pl&cgi=1&.......">

      and you can use PHP/ASP to place dynamically generated parameters into
      the URL string.

      Be sure to familiarize yourself with the ploticus "direct cgi mode" man
      page, especially the "troubleshooting" section.

      The GIF file must exist when your browser reaches the <IMG> tag. I don't
      know ASP, but perhaps wshshell.run isn't waiting for the spawned ploticus
      process to finish before returning and allowing the ASP interpreter to
      move on.

      Also, if you try the above URL-based method, you might get better results,
      as this avoids the creation of a GIF file and streams the GIF content.

      Hope these answers address what you're asking..
