I'm still getting a lot of benefit from ploticus.

I recently started making error bars. Here is a script:

      #proc settings
      xml_encoding: utf-8
      units: cm

      #proc page
      font: VeraMono

I hope the font: line doesn't screw up your ability to
replicate or run the script. I uploaded the output I
get to the photos section of the yahoo group.

I like the error bars. But they seem a tad wider than
the vertical bars, which I don't like. And I can't
      seem to change their width.

I tried making barwidth and "thinbarline: width" bigger
and smaller, but it seemed to have no effect.

What am I doing wrong? Which setting is supposed to change
      the error bar width?

Anything else about my script that looks wrong?

ploticus 2.41-Mar2009 (unix). This build can produce: PS EPS SVG SVGZ X11 PNG JPEG WBMP FreeType2

BTW: http://ploticus.sourceforge.net/gallery/mouse.htm is a bad link.

      Thanks,
      Daniel

I should have mentioned I used the command line arguments: -png -cm -pagesize 150,50

The docs are clear enough, but I was confused.

There are several other bad links in the "error bars" gallery.
I'd be happy to send a script for that gallery.
