  • I thought it was a heck of a ride myself, even though the ending had so much going on it was hard to keep track of. But they've already green-lit the sequel, luckily. I'd say they did the franchise justice. And I'm with you on the live-action Joe movie. I haven't heard much good about the potential scripts, but Transformers had the same troubles, and it turned out OK. So we'll see...

  • ...is that they won't have free admission with costume, but that's because their admission's so low to begin with compared to other shows. But if it's a big hit, perhaps in the future they'd knock a couple bucks off, though? I'll be there regardless!

  • Yeah, last time I went, I ended up with parts I needed for a whole bunch of my incomplete Transformers and Joes. Hoping to do even more completing this time around! Plus Jeremy Bulloch's gonna be there, so for the cheap admission, you can't go wrong. --- In pittscomicon@^$1, bsimon9427@^$2.. wrote: > > > In a message dated 5/11/2007 10:05:23 AM Eastern Daylight Time, > dugger_rockz...

  • I sure didn't notice any nervousness from you up there! Came across great. Although when I was up there, I sort of froze up for a second before I started talking, since I actually wasn't sure beforehand exactly what I was gonna say up there. Not sure if anyone noticed. So I just spouted off the anti-PSA stuff, and it worked pretty well. Can't wait for the video! --- In pittscomicon...

  • Again, thank you to everyone who liked my costume; I must've done something right! I always do try to stay in character when I dress up, which seemed to make a big difference. COBRAAAAA!! And I noticed we had a Star Wars category, which was needed after last year, but there were a lot less Star Wars costumes, probably since the 501st and Rebel Legion weren't around. Not sure why...

  • Yeah, your kids' costumes were outstanding! It warmed my heart to see Bumblebee, I mean, Sparkplug! And I can't imagine how much your Godzilla was sweating in there!!! I was starting to have a hard time just in my Cobra getup, mostly from the gloves! --- In pittscomicon@^$1, "acroraya30x" wrote: > > My wife & I brought our daughters on Sunday in their Godzilla and > Transformer...

  • Yeah, I was Cobra Commander, and I severely underestimated how popular the old snake is! I thought I had my pic taken a lot last year, but I probably got double last year's total, which was very flattering! There was an outstanding variety of costumes, all really well-made. And it's always good to see other Joes around! Other than that, I didn't buy much besides some Doctor Who...

  • Neither hell nor high water shall stop me from attending the Toy Show. The celebrity guests this time around are Billy Dee Williams and Richard Kiel. One of those guys alone would be reason enough to go wherever, but both together is incredible!! I can't wait. I think the 501st Legion usually shows up there as well, which is always fun. --- In pittscomicon@^$1, "dugger_rockz" wrote...
