74x Nihon Bunka Kyoushitsu literally translates to Japanese Culture
Workshops. Our workshops feature a range of academic and cultural
lessons aimed at other young people who do not have the benefit of
being part of formal university-based Japanese culture organizations
and similar institutions, yet still have the desire to learn about
Japan and its rich cultural heritage.

The workshops are irregularly held by a group of volunteers who have
been part of these organizations, including alumni of UP Tomo-Kai and
DLSU Nihon Kenkyu Kai. Some of them have as studied in Japan on
various scholarship programs, while most have earned their JLPT
certificates (with some up to the Nikyuu level). These volunteers are
contributing their knowledge, time, and finances in making sure that
the workshops are both educational and entertaining for all participants

      September 3 Workshops

Our September 3, 2005 workshops will be held at "Hello! Hello!
Tokyo!", an event copresented with Philippine Gendai Shikaku Bunka
Kenkyuukai (PHIGEN). The venue is the basement level of Centro Plaza,
#49 Scout Madrinan corner Scout Torillo in Quezon City. Admission is
at PhP 150 before 1:00 PM (which includes lunch) and PhP 100 after that.

This is a mock-up of the 2003 and 2004 Nihongo Noryoku Shiken Yonkyu
exams, minus the listening sections (owing to the possible noise
levels during the event). Test participants have a choice between
taking the 2003 or 2004 exams, but cannot take both due to time
