Wage and salary earners are the only ones who pay their fair taxes period.

Those whose main income is derived mainly from interest and/or profit , very often pay no taxes at all to Uncle Sam as recent evidence has shown in the recent case of G.E’s  zero tax bill.

The elite spend large sums of money employing lawyers and accountants to avoid paying tax, thus money that should have been used to provide services, like health care, to the general public is diverted into the pockets of the wealthy.

The elite say greed is a virtue and, they certainly live by that creed except, and I say again except,  when it comes to those that construct the buildings, roads and railways, manufacture and transport  the goods we use etc., then it is a different kettle of fish.

Greed then becomes a terrible vice, especially when it is employed on behalf of wage and salary earners by the Trade Unions.

Warren buffet one of the richest men in the world says he does not try to avoid paying tax but still only 17. 7% tax on the millions he makes, whilst his salary paid office workers pay over 32.9% on the hundreds in their pay packets. Buffet is perhaps the only billionaire that is honest and  get this, he supports the Democrat Party.

Wage and salary earners should not be afraid of paying tax if the tax bill is shared equitably and is used to provide, schools, universities, hospitals and other services that improve the quality of the life of the general public and progress for the nation.

Of course tax reform is needed that prevents the distribution of the nations wealth upwards, as is the case now, to the wealthy.

To follow like lemmings the cries of the elite, less tax, less tax is self destructive.
