      Subject: [phpXperts] filtering friendly urls

      Hi,

is there any way to escape single double quotes in htaccess so even if in url it come like this
single or double quotes or any other special characters it doesnt give error

one more thing in database value saved is Sage\'s shop
so if i had to query the databse and get id of this shop
      i ran this query
select id from table where shop_name='Sage\'s shop'
but it returns 0 records and if i remove the sinlge quote and slash and change value to Sage shop then it works fine and return the id

isnt it possible in mysql to query with slash?

      Regards
      Farhan
