I don't uniderstand the line below...

Can you please explain these line..
In joomla normally htaccess file is in .txt format and default url are "query url" format. To enable SEO setting,
go to global conconfiguration from admin panel then right side "SEO Settings"
1. rename htaccess.txt file to .htaccess (For test purpose give permission 777 and when every thing is done back it to 644 or 755)
2. Give 777 to configuration.php file and back to 644 or 755 after seo enable
another thing I mentioned here as alias is when we create section, category or article we put something as alias after title or title is set there as alias with some formatting. It's like slug of wordpress which is used when we enable SEO from global configuration.
Let me know if I am wrong or any thing not clear yet.
