The Art of the Possible - An Opportunity for Creative Involvement*

      *Braziers Park, Oxfordshire*

      *1st - 5th September 2004*

The Permaculture Association (Britain) has issued an invitation for
groups and individuals working for environmental and social change to
experience and explore the potential of permaculture design.
Make a note in your diary *NOW* for the permaculture event of 2004 !

Permaculture is a design system based upon principles observable
in nature. Formed around a three-fold ethic of Earth Care, People Care
and Fair Shares, permaculture has spread rapidly across the globe over
the last 25 years. It has been applied in a wide range of situations
from horticulture to architecture and international development projects
      to local exchange trading schemes.

To celebrate the 21st Anniversary of Permaculture in Britain, and
prepare for the next 21 years, we are hosting two unique events - a
*Design School* & *Convergence 21*. This is an invitation to take a
stroll into the future and to learn from each other's experiences of
sustainability. The Design School is planned with public, private and
third sector organisations in mind. This is an opportunity to find out
what has been happening during the last 21 years within our portfolio of
projects, and to see how permaculture design can assist your own
organisations and networks. Enjoy the opportunity & synergy of learning
and networking in a pleasurable and relaxed atmosphere with others out
      there on the leading edge.

. *Design School* (1st-3rd Sept): complete with seminars,
theoretical and practical workshops and presentations, delicious food,
children's activities, and entertainment. The timetable is based upon
sessions from our very best teachers and project leaders, giving your
organisation a chance to learn about how permaculture is being used in
Britain and around the world, to solve some of the most pressing
      problems of the 21st century.

      . *Convergence 21* (3rd–5th Sept): a celebration of 21 years of
permaculture, incorporating workshops, slide shows, master classes,
stalls and exhibitions, practical activities, AGM, children’s paradise,
arts and crafts, organic food, and party. An opportunity for us all to
learn, to share and to plan for the future.

Both events will be held on the eco-camping grounds of Braziers Park, an
innovative learning centre since 1950, replete with mansion house and 50
      acres of Oxfordshire parkland.

      *Will you be there?*
