Hope you are having a good day and the weather is good. we are getting more snow.. will be going out and shoveling again soon.
Ohh we have a rabbit hanging around now I need to figure out how to feed it in all this blasted snow.. if I thought it would go under the porch I'd put it there but do not need raccoons or skunks going under so have to come up with a better idea.. from the foot print it is a nice sized one..
Have not seen a rabbit in a few years so if the pattern holds it means no foxes next spring to watch grow up...
Now if I had dad OLD brown ford I could open one of the doors and it could go in and be safe and I could leave it food.
Did this for a stray someone threw out of the car one night they broke it's back leg and it never healed right. but it took over the car and every day for two years I made sure it had food and water.. even if it meant I had to walk through feet of snow since then the car was across the road. Dad fixed it so it could get up on a tire to the open window on the drivers side. he even found a thick old pillow to put in back seat so it had a good spot to sleep.. yea this from a guy who proclaimed he was not a cat person. it just had to share the car with a snake that stayed in the trunk it was around for years.. Dad kept some of his tools in the trunk so when he was working on something over there he did not have to came to the house to get what he wanted.. He thought nothing of moving it when he had to get any tools. then put him back.. one fall he brought the skin over so we could see how big it was.
Yep you grow up in the country you can claim many animals as your pets. :)
Have a good one
Blessing
