- Assuming all 3 files have the same number of lines, and line1 in all 3 files is what you want in the first line of output, then just:
# untested, mind you
open FILE1, "<file1";
open FILE2, "<file2";
open FILE3, "<file3";
@array1 = <FILE1>;
@array2 = <FILE2>;
@array3 = <FILE3>;
foreach $counter (1..$#fields)
I know it isn't pretty, but hey, ASAP was requested...
