      : Heya Folks,

      : Ash's program was:
      :
      : print OUTF
      : "*$FORM{'opp1'}|$FORM{'opp2'}|$FORM{'fri1'}|$FORM{'fri2'}|
      : $FORM{'fri3'}|$FORM{'song1'}|$FORM{'song2'}|$FORM{'song3'}|
      : $FORM{'song4'}|$FORM{'dog'}|$FORM{'cat'}|$FORM{'rat'}|
      : $FORM{'coffee'}|$FORM{'ocean'}*";
      : print OUTF "\n\n";
      :
      : Not to sound too new (though I am), but what's OUTF do?

      OUTF is a file handle.

      : Does it write to a file?

      print writes to the file OUTF refers to.

      : Also, what are all the vertical lines "|" for?
      : They look like pipes in Unix, but I don't think that's what they are...

      Ash is storing the information in the hash to a file and separating
      each vluse with a |. Later the hash can be retrieveved using a split
      that searches for |. (split /\|/ ). This is commonly referred to as pipe
      delimited.
