Hi - im new here, Ive heard from a friend that this is possible, Where
a cgi script can 'log in' to a service & do stuff...

      - has someone got a dummies guide - (with quick examples) - of how
this is possible... - step-by step...

      :- checking for cookie
      :- setting cookie
      :- log-out / delete cookie

      - as the service uses cookies to know who has logged in, & not...

Im not 100% experienced, but I have 'retrieved' websites via perl
      before & can extract information..

      - so its just the cookie part im not familiar with.

      Thanks

Do you mean in providing the service, or scripting a website as a client
        that uses cookies?

It's not clear from your request.
