      I've noticed one weird thing about cron. You have to have a blank new line
      at the end of the crontab. So for instance:

      Line 1: 0-59/5 * * * * * /home/monitor/scripts/ck.pl
      Line 2:
      Line 3: <EOF>

      For some reason, my crontabs wouldn't run unless I had that in there.

      As someone noted earlier, you do have too many parameters in your crontab
      if that is your actual crontab that you sent out. Here's a nice, brief
      link on what the crontab parameters are:
