      If you use ActivePerl then MS VC++ 6 is the one most likely to work.
      I'd expect perlcc to try to generate code for whatever compiler
      perl.exe was compiled with.

      In either case ... I would not recommend using perlcc for production
      type things, it's not dependable yet.

      Try perl2exe or PerlApp.
