      In a 2001 review on H-NET of a collection of key Muggletonian writings, Ted
      Vallance , Department of History, University of Sheffield says appropriately,

      "The Muggletonians are, in historical terms, the coelacanths of the radical
      religious sects of seventeenth-century England. Long thought extinct, they
      resurfaced in the twentieth century, the emergence of their archive in the
      1970s happily coinciding with a re-awakening of academic interest in these
      sectarian groups."
