ask em, there are 2 sheets, 1 for an inkjet, and the other for a laser.. BOTH used to make transparencies for an overhead projector, which is probably no longer used...
Digital projectors now used, hooked into a computer
- Searching Michael's web site does not return any decal sheets. Look at Hobby Town. I bought a small kit ($11.95, I think) made by Testor's with a 5x8 clear sheet and a 5x8 white sheet. It also has software for Windows and a can of decal fixing spray (must be used to prevent smudging the ink). I used the clear sheet and MS Word for Mac to create a decal of a friend's company logo and put it on a pen for him. Turn the pen and finish with CA. After drying add the decal (let sit for an hour or so to make sure it sets) and reapply CA. No edges seen and logo stays put. YMMV.
There is a YouTube video series by Grub32 on this process -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quBaoPjjMz4.
Avery also sells decal sheets (product # 53212) but they are designed to affix to car windows. Might be an option, but the Testor's kit works for me.
- Testors decal paper, comes in clear and white. Don't forget to pick up a can of the sealer also made by testors. It keeps the ink from smearing. Hobby lobby had it for 18.00 a package..4 sheets. From: Patrick Driscoll <patrick36@...>

Someone on this list mentioned that Michaels Had a clear sheet that you could print a name on with your inkjet printer and then when you pasted it on a pen barrel and finished with CA glue, the outline of the plastic would dissolve and could not be seen on the pen, (you could not tell that the name had not been printed on the pen barrel). Does anyone know what the name of the product is?
