Well, I'm here to introduce my self, Have always had a special place for wood in my life and now I am going to start turning pens, spent some time getting supplies after the holidays and should have my first go at it in a couple weeks. Also delving into carving and wood sculpting, just a great way to relax and be creative. I'm going to be using a shopsmith Mark V to begin with, but will likely pick up a mini lathe down the road once I sell a few pen and pencil sets. Trying to learn all I can about finishes and working with both wood and "Coreian", even got some deer antler from Santa!!!
