      Drying in microwave

      My experience with a microwave has been good, "nuking" them no more than twice per day. Nuke 'em, let 'em rest and settle down, then nuke them again. Pat P. in

      re. moisture meter... I've not had the best experience with that. Most of the assumptions that go into the model that does the calculation are not appropriate

      I picked up my moisture meter on sale for about $20 at Rockler. The accuracy is probably only within 1-2%, but that is good enough for me. It's a pin meter, so

      I think your blanks will likely crack in the attic. The key to drying is slow speed. If you dry too fast, the outside will dry first, but the moisture inside
