      Dear Lois,

In just a few hours, Harry Reid is set to force a cloture vote in the U.S. Senate on the nomination of radical union lawyer Richard Griffin to be the next General Counsel of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).

Time is running out, so I need your help right away.

Call your U.S. Senators at once and urge them to vote against cloture on the nomination of Richard Griffin to be General Counsel of the NLRB
      .

      Sen. Bob Casey: (202) 224-6324

      Sen. Patrick Toomey: (202) 224-4254

As you may remember, Griffin was one of Barack Obama's illegal "recess" appointees to the NLRB, whose renomination as a Board Member was dropped as part of the backroom deal Harry Reid made with John McCain and Lamar Alexander.

But then Obama turned around and nominated Griffin for another job at the NLRB -- and his new position is arguably even more powerful than the one he illegally held
      .

You see, the Supreme Court has held that the NLRB General Counsel has "unreviewable discretion" on which cases to allow the full NLRB to even consider -- and which ones to suffocate.

Richard Griffin clearly fails even the most basic standards of impartiality and honesty.

Ten members of the Local 501 International Union of Operating Engineers in Los Angeles have claimed in a corruption lawsuit that Griffin was a constant participant in a conspiracy to manipulate Local 501 through a pattern of racketeering.  The lawsuit specifically states that Griffin made threats in an attempt to cover up the embezzlement.

If Griffin is willing to illegally silence employees to protect Big Labor's unlawful practices, as he's accused of doing, how much worse will he be as the officer in charge of prosecuting unfair labor practices?

It's like making a known drug kingpin the head of the Drug Enforcement Agency.

The vote is just hours away, so please act at once.

Call your U.S. Senators right away, and urge them to vote against cloture on the nomination of Richard Griffin.

      Sen. Bob Casey: (202) 224-6324

      Sen. Patrick Toomey: (202) 224-4254

And after calling your Senators, please consider chipping in with a contribution of $10 or more to help your National Right to Work Committee keep up the fight against Big Labor.

But most importantly, please call your Senators at once.

      Sincerely,

      Mark Mix

P.S. With the vote just hours away, it's critical you call both your U.S. Senators IMMEDIATELY and urge them to vote against cloture on the nomination of Richard Griffin to be the next General Counsel of the National Labor Relations Board.

      Sen. Bob Casey: (202) 224-6324

      Sen. Patrick Toomey: (202) 224-4254
