Group Description

The Peninsula Badgers e-group is for anyone interested in the European badger (meles meles) and related issues.

This egroup was set up with people living in the southwest of England in mind, but wherever you live, you're welcome to join!

The moderator posts regular messages from a number of sources including the Badger Trust, and all members can also send their own messages to the group.

Please note that membership is open to all, but anyone posting messages of a commercial nature, or that do not directly relate to 'badgery' issues, may be banned from membership.

E-mail attachments are not permitted on this group

When you join the Egroup, you will be subscribed to the mailing list, and will have access to all the group's Web tools such as Message Archives, Polls, Files and Photos

Note: When you select 'Join this group' you will be asked to sign in or register for a Yahoo! ID.

This process is simple and completely free! When you complete the on-line form you will be offered a Yahoo e-mail address - you do not need to accept this

BUT PLEASE NOTE that to receive group messages you must enter your usual e-mail address where asked for your 'alternate email'

Members should select 'Edit Membership' at the top of this page to change their contact details (eg. email address used for group messages)

For more information on badgers see

Please note: Unfortunately, a number of people have recently joined this group with the sole intention of posting non-badger related messages of a commercial or offensive nature. These messages are removed and the membership of the individual is terminated as soon as possible.

If you are genuinely interested in badgers you are most welcome to join the group.
