      Hey all,

The Glass Menagerie opens tonight and runs till June 30th every
Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Jack Oakes Theatre on NE 28th and Sandy
Blvd. For those of you not familiar with the play here's some info:

This is Tennessee Williams' classic and autobiographical family drama
set in the late 1930s. Many argue this is his best work. It tells the story
of a loving but turbulent family at a turning point and how each member uses
illusion and escapism to find hope and deal with feelings of loneliness,
regret and anxiety about the future. The son, Tom (Michael Teufel) narrates
the play and the other characters are Tom's mother Amanda (Anne Parker) his
sister Laura (Nicole Turley)and a gentleman caller that appears in the final
      scenes, Jim (Bob McKeehen).

Brian Lindstrom directs this version. He's a filmmaker, currently teaching
at the NW Film Center. He has worked on films ranging from documentaries to
"Day Trippers" to "Cyborge II." He did theatrical work while studying at
Columbia University. This cast and crew bring a freshness and humor to the
show that you won't find in any other version of this play. Here are the
      details:
