      Running May 23-June 21 at The Electric Company
      www.electricco.org

      Audition for plays inspired by Shakespeare's Sonnets
      written by John Guare ("House of Blue Leaves") and
      Tony Kushner ("Angels in America") and the West Coast
      premiere of "How to Be a Red Hot Shakespearean Lover"
      by Greg Steinbruner and Eve Hartmann.

      Casting 9 roles--half men, half women. One role is
      particularly well-suited for an African-American
      female and another for a male with an Arabian
      appearance.

      What to bring: performance resume and headshot (if
      available)
      Prepare: one classical and one modern monologue
      When: Sunday, April 6, group auditions at 10 and 11
      a.m. and 12, 1 and 2 p.m.

        significant role in the world premier of "The Bad
        Seed," based on the novel by William March, adapted
        for the stage and directed by J. Paccassi. Rehearsals
        begin November 14; show open January 9, 2004, running
        fifteen performances for five weeks. Non-union, paid
        role.
