      [18:00] [Chair]Eddy: OK, I've got 9pm, let's begin
      [18:00] [Chair]Eddy: I'll start, Content Report:
      [18:01] [Chair]Eddy: Docs
      [18:01] [Chair]Eddy: Doc Bugs: 0
      [18:01] [Chair]Eddy: Doc FREQs: 28 for 5.16 (40 total, +1 since last
      [18:01] [Chair]Eddy: Output Sheets
      [18:01] [Chair]Eddy: OS Bugs: 5 for 5.16 (5 total, unchanged since last
      [18:01] [Chair]Eddy: OS FREQs: 17 for 5.16 (36 total, unchanged since
      last meeting)
      [18:01] [Chair]Eddy: Data
      [18:01] [Chair]Eddy: Data Bugs: 32 for 5.16 (50 Total, -9 since last
      [18:01] [Chair]Eddy: Data FREQs: 35 for 5.16 (117 Total, -1 since last
      [18:02] [Chair]Eddy: New Source Development: 9 for 5.16 (16 Total, -12
      since last meeting)
[18:02] [Chair]Eddy: The ability conversion for the SRD and RSRD is now
[18:02] [Chair]Eddy: All SAB tags have been deleted and the ability
objects are now the primary representation of the abilities.
[18:02] [Chair]Eddy: The MSRD will be next, It needs some OS work as
well as data so I'm not sure if it will make the 5.16 cut.
[18:02] *** Maredudd is now known as [PR_SB]Maredudd.
[18:02] [Chair]Eddy: Chuck Pint has volunteered to update the PDF's for
the new ability usage and he says he will be working on that in a couple
      of weeks.
[18:02] [Chair]Eddy: That means the PDF's won't be updated for the last
Alpha but should be ready in the first Beta.
[18:02] [Chair]Eddy: Stefan has reported that he plans on wrapping up
the Pathfinder RPG Beta set in about the same timeframe.
[18:02] [Chair]Eddy: We'll need to be ready to do an OGL review ASAP
once Stefan completes the data work.
      [18:02] [Chair]Eddy: That's content, questions?
      [18:03] [Admin_SB]Drew: I'm good
[18:03] [PR_SB]Maredudd: If Stefan can update the repository we can do a
      preliminary OGL review.
      [18:04] [Chair]Eddy: That's fine, but he's says he's got more to add
[18:04] [PR_SB]Maredudd: I'll drop him a line to see if there is any
part that is ready for OGL review . .
      [18:05] [Chair]Eddy: Cool
      [18:05] [Chair]Eddy: Anything else?
[18:05] [Chair]Eddy: who wants to go next?
      [18:05] [Admin_SB]Drew: Admin please
      [18:05] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Drew.
      [18:05] [Admin_SB]Drew: :)
      [18:05] [Chair]Eddy: Go for it
[18:06] [Admin_SB]Drew: Thanks, Admin is dealing with a headache, so
      forgive any errors or omissions
[18:06] [Admin_SB]Drew: Release - I believe our next release is next
weekend, whenever James is up for it... I think it's our last alpha.
[18:07] [Admin_SB]Drew: Need to double check with James... I'm sure we
have a lot of last minute items on the code side that MAY delay the beta
      release after a week
      [18:08] [Admin_SB]Drew: Trackers - Let's have people do a quick review
of any trackers assigned to them... Any final questions or discussions
      need to be concluded ASAP.
[18:08] [Admin_SB]Drew: Website - Good and Bad news
      [18:09] [Arch_SB]thpr: umm
[18:09] [Arch_SB]thpr: on beta, the beta lockdown isn't until 3 weeks
      from now
[18:09] [Arch_SB]thpr: just to be clear
      [18:09] [Arch_SB]thpr: ?
[18:09] [Admin_SB]Drew: Ok, (like I said, not feeling well).... I'll
      double check
[18:10] [Admin_SB]Drew: Good News - We've discovered the primary issue
to the mailing list (missing a module)... Bad news, smtp needs to be
configured properly... I can jury rigg it, but I'd rather get it done
properly... lacking manuals I think Kar may need to look into the proper
tech channels... or a web savvy person... The email I have isn't working.
[18:11] [Admin_SB]Drew: Web server relying on linux I think is the main
      [18:11] [Admin_SB]Drew: Correct - Windows Web Server
      [18:11] [Admin_SB]Drew: Any questions?
      [18:12] [Chair]Eddy: None from me
      [18:12] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Nope.
      [18:12] [Admin_SB]Drew: K, I nominate Eric as next... :)
[18:12] [Web_2nd]Anestis: is this the cheddarmongers site or the normal
      PCGEn test site?
[18:12] [Admin_SB]Drew: Pcgen test site - drupal extension using the d6
[18:13] [OGL]Nylanfs: Might want to hit up Paul Lambert since that's
what he does for a living. Plus he said at GenCon he was looking for
      start being more active again.
[18:13] [OGL]Nylanfs: web sites that is
      [18:13] [Admin_SB]Drew: http://www.pcgen-test.org/drupal/
[18:13] [Admin_SB]Drew: the other one mysteriously broke... *sigh*
      [18:14] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Hey, I havn't seen this page!
[18:15] [PR_SB]Maredudd: So, did I hear Tom volunteer to go next?
[18:15] [Web_2nd]Anestis: so what's the cheddarmongers site for?
      [18:15] [Chair]Eddy: Some one step up :-)
[18:15] [Admin_SB]Drew: He's doing some clean site testing
      [18:15] [Chair]Eddy: whos next?
      [18:15] [Arch_SB]thpr: I can go
      [18:15] [Admin_SB]Drew: Eric!
      [18:16] [Arch_SB]thpr: I win
      [18:16] [Chair]Eddy: Go Tom
      [18:16] [Arch_SB]thpr: Code report first
      [18:16] [PR_SB]Maredudd: (I owe Tom a beer . . .)
[18:16] [Arch_SB]thpr: 8 bugs closed since last meeting
[18:16] [Arch_SB]thpr: of which 4 were new since last meeting
[18:16] [Arch_SB]thpr: unfortunately, we have 10 more new ones since the
last meeting, putting us at a net +6
      [18:16] [Arch_SB]thpr: and up to 62 bugs
[18:17] [Arch_SB]thpr: FREQs are down 6 since last meeting, and I've
      added a few more tokens
[18:17] [Arch_SB]thpr: I've opened 22 new FREQs to see if we can get
      participation from the new coders
[18:17] [Arch_SB]thpr: those would otherwise just be part of my token
conversion tasks or other items not specific to 5.16
[18:18] [Arch_SB]thpr: To my knowledge, we're still on track for beta on
      or about Nov 22
[18:18] [Arch_SB]thpr: though there are issues and FREQs that may not
      close in 5.16
[18:18] [Arch_SB]thpr: specifically the new spell chooser isn't
      completely resolved
[18:19] [Arch_SB]thpr: I think the skill cost and cskill overhaul can
      probably be done as is
[18:19] [Arch_SB]thpr: the remaining questions/issues are no big deal
[18:19] [Arch_SB]thpr: any questions on code?
      [18:20] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Not for PR.
      [18:20] [Chair]Eddy: Note here
      [18:20] [Admin_SB]Drew: No for Admin
      [18:20] [Arch_SB]thpr: Arch
[18:20] [Arch_SB]thpr: I'm down to 16 tokens, plus the CHOOSE and KIT tokens
[18:21] [Arch_SB]thpr: The AUTO tokens are mostly done, but I've found a
corner case we will need to resolve, expect a post to _exp soon
[18:21] [Arch_SB]thpr: also hoping to tear some old function out of ADD:FEAT
      [18:21] [Arch_SB]thpr:
      http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/pcgen_experimental/message/11359 for
      [18:22] *** Zaister has joined #pcgen.
[18:22] [Arch_SB]thpr: so anyway, token conversion is still on target
for Nov 22 beta as well
      [18:22] [Arch_SB]thpr: any questions there?
      [18:23] [Admin_SB]Drew: None from Admin
      [18:23] [PR_SB]Maredudd: None from PR.
      [18:24] [Chair]Eddy: none here
      [18:24] [Arch_SB]thpr: ok, that's it from me
      [18:24] [Chair]Eddy: Eric, you're up
      [18:24] [PR_SB]Maredudd: I knew I couldn't run all night!
[18:24] [PR_SB]Maredudd: The PR Report is thin tonight.
[18:26] [PR_SB]Maredudd: I havn't heard anything more to WotC but will
be dropping them a note to see where things stand.
[18:27] [PR_SB]Maredudd: I also haven't heard from Paizo, but they where
still working on their licence for folks like us and it will likely take
awhile longer. We are still able to functon on our current permissions
though so its business as usual until further notice.
[18:28] [PR_SB]Maredudd: From the Data Licensing Team, one OGL review
was completed thi weekend and there is one more due for a Pathfinder
[18:28] [PR_SB]Maredudd: We'll keep our eyes open for other sets being
[18:29] [Chair]Eddy: I think at this point we're close enough to the
prod release that any new sets should go into the trunk
[18:29] [PR_SB]Maredudd: From the Advertising team, all press releases
have gone out to the standard sites. Please take some time and review
them and provide feedback to me on them.
      [18:29] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Thats all I have unless there are questions . . .
      [18:29] [PR_SB]Maredudd: I agree Eddy.
[18:29] [Admin_SB]Drew: What is the air speed of an unladen swallow?
      [18:30] [Admin_SB]Drew: Just kidding Eric... :)
[18:30] [PR_SB]Maredudd: The question though is,if the set will work
with 5.14.1, should we also produse an OOC set for those not ready to
      [18:31] [Chair]Eddy: I think it's a small audience
      [18:31] [Chair]Eddy: I'd rather put time elsewhere
[18:31] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Yeah, your probably right.
      [18:32] TirGwaith: Seconded
      [18:32] [Chair]Eddy: Hi Tir :-)
[18:32] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Did anyone get a chance to look at the stats I
      loaded into the files section?
[18:32] TirGwaith: Hi, I've been paying attention, just didn't see the
point in commenting before now. :)
[18:33] [Chair]Eddy: I did, not sure what to make of them though. As
long as folks are downloading I guess we're doing alright
      [18:33] [PR_SB]Maredudd: I have nothing else.
[18:34] [Chair]Eddy: OK, shall we go to agenda items next?
[18:35] [Chair]Eddy: I have two, one from Kar and one from me off the
      BoD list
[18:35] [Chair]Eddy: first: Policy on Homebrew or Fan created works
[18:35] *** Zaister_ has signed off IRC (Read error: 110 (Connection
      timed out)).
[18:36] [Chair]Eddy: we started this discussion on the BoD list and the
concensus seems to be that we should stick with published works
      [18:36] [Arch_SB]thpr: agree - published works
[18:36] [Arch_SB]thpr: copyright issues way too complicated for fan
      created works
      [18:36] [OGL]Nylanfs: Definitely agree
[18:36] [Chair]Eddy: are we at a point where we can resolve this and
      vote on the policy?
[18:36] TirGwaith: with standard OGLs, etc. Much cleaner
[18:37] [PR_SB]Maredudd: I'm ready to cast my vote.
[18:37] [Chair]Eddy: We may be moving beyond OFL, to other licenses in
the future, but the point being that there should be a license of some sort
[18:38] [Web_2nd]Anestis: There's always Creative Commons Licences and
      such as well
[18:38] [PR_SB]Maredudd: I agree with that Eddy. We need a clear license
to back us when we publish a data set. Fan based material can't provide
[18:38] [Chair]Eddy: We also need a clear publisher
[18:38] [PR_SB]Maredudd: That is even more inportant.
[18:39] [Chair]Eddy: we have the Fan Community Council which is not a
company but a group much like us I believe
[18:39] [Chair]Eddy: some we need a certain level of organization of
publisher and published product to make a datset
[18:39] TirGwaith: and we had some issues with the FCC in the past (how
/ who to contact changing or disappearing, etc.)
[18:40] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Kar posted a note on the BoD stating that his
recollection was that the Fan Community Council organized so that they
      could publish
[18:41] [Chair]Eddy: the main point is that some guy posting material on
a forum does not meet that minimum
[18:41] TirGwaith: Wow, I thought it was someone with his own website of
stuff. didnt' realize it was forum posts.
[18:42] [Admin_SB]Drew: We have had submissions with both
[18:42] [Admin_SB]Drew: Forums for most, but another had an actual website
[18:42] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Correct. We have no idea where he drew is
material from, and which publishers toes we might be stepping on if we
turn around and publish closed contet, or even open content with out the
      proper sitation per the OGL.
[18:43] [Chair]Eddy: that comment was not a specific example on my part,
      it was just hypothetical
[18:43] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Such materia is exactly what Eruvian was
talking about hosting, if I recall correctly.
      [18:44] [OGL]Nylanfs: Yes
      [18:44] TirGwaith: interesting.
[18:44] [PR_SB]Maredudd: And such material is best suited for site like
[18:44] [OGL]Nylanfs: Problem is that I think that RL has sucked up Matt. :(
[18:46] [PR_SB]Maredudd: I understand that as well, but it is that kind
of site that such material would be best placed at.
[18:47] [Chair]Eddy: OK then, I move that we limit our content to
established publisher and their products and also establish what our
minimum requirements are for what we considered a publisher
      [18:47] [Admin_SB]Drew: seconded
[18:48] [Chair]Eddy: How vote PR and ARCH
[18:48] [PR_SB]Maredudd: And I need to say that I am using Eruvian as an
example only. I am not promoting it specifically, or the hosting of data
      sets that violate publishers IP.
      [18:48] [Arch_SB]thpr: agreed
      [18:48] [PR_SB]Maredudd: PRPR agrees.
[18:49] [Chair]Eddy: Provisional to James Aye, that make it unanimous,
      motion passes
[18:49] [Chair]Eddy: Next item is from Kar
[18:49] [Chair]Eddy: Can we organise to continuously run the latest CMP
data against our Alpha builds so we know if we trip a conversion issue?
[18:49] [Chair]Eddy: not sure what he has in mind
[18:49] [Arch_SB]thpr: we would need CMP cooperation for taht
[18:49] [Arch_SB]thpr: I don't know of anyone with their entire dataset
[18:50] [Chair]Eddy: we do have the CMP SRD and RSRD sets
      [18:50] [Arch_SB]thpr: you do
[18:50] [Chair]Eddy: I'd think that's all we could work with
      [18:50] [Arch_SB]thpr: well
[18:50] [Chair]Eddy: No, Barak posted the CMP SRD and RSRD set to us
[18:50] [Arch_SB]thpr: anyway, I think we need to get OUR data validated
[18:51] [Arch_SB]thpr: we still aren't running our own data vs. our builds
[18:51] [Arch_SB]thpr: to ensure issues don't crop up
[18:51] [Chair]Eddy: But I agree that we would need CMP cooperation to
      do anything with them
[18:51] [Arch_SB]thpr: the DESc DESC thing should have been flagged
      [18:51] [Arch_SB]thpr: for example
[18:51] [Chair]Eddy: was it not or did you add an error massage when you
      found that?
      [18:51] [Arch_SB]thpr: I didn't add anything
[18:52] [Arch_SB]thpr: whomever made the data change didn't test it in
      the build
[18:52] [Chair]Eddy: yeah, that was me
      [18:52] [Chair]Eddy: slipped through
[18:52] [Arch_SB]thpr: anyway, Brad has been working to get the
      autobuild running
[18:52] [Chair]Eddy: I almost always do a load test before committing
[18:53] [Arch_SB]thpr: it's getting closer - down to some minor issues
of ensuring it runs under any ID
[18:53] [Arch_SB]thpr: and some connection issues to SF
[18:53] [Arch_SB]thpr: which may be my machine
      [18:53] [Chair]Eddy: I'm seeing that too
[18:54] [Arch_SB]thpr: well, they had some bad problems with connections
      being terminated for a while
[18:54] [Chair]Eddy: sometimes commits fail and I have to do it again
      (and then it works)
[18:54] [Arch_SB]thpr: but they implemented a workaround on that a week
      or two ago
      [18:54] [Arch_SB]thpr: I haven't had a problem since
[18:55] [Arch_SB]thpr: so I'm guessing the problem getting from my
machine to SF may be a firewall problem
      [18:57] [Admin_SB]Drew: I have a few connection issues...
[18:57] [Admin_SB]Drew: so it's not just you Tom
[18:58] [Chair]Eddy: So regarding CMP data, at this point the best we
can do is rely on those who own the data to report any problems
      [19:00] [Chair]Eddy: Any other comments?
[19:01] [Admin_SB]Drew: I can't think of any... just a big Good job to
[19:01] [Admin_SB]Drew: Especially our newer team members
      [19:01] [Admin_SB]Drew: Michael and Dan
[19:02] [Chair]Eddy: That's all the agenda items, does anyone have any
      topics for open discussion?
      [19:02] [PR_SB]Maredudd: None from PR.
      [19:02] [Admin_SB]Drew: None from Admin
      [19:02] [Arch_SB]thpr: none from me
[19:03] [Web_2nd]Anestis: Drew's asked me to try and update the test
site to Drupal 6.6 - so...umm... if it breaks, blame him!
      [19:03] [Arch_SB]thpr: LOL
[19:04] [PR_SB]Maredudd: I lke that. It Drews fault!
[19:05] [Admin_SB]Drew: Yes, Admin takes the blame, but delegates
      [19:05] [PR_SB]Maredudd: I move Orders of the Day . . .
[19:07] [Chair]Eddy: Anything else or shall we call this one done?
      [19:07] [Arch_SB]thpr: not from me
      [19:07] [Admin_SB]Drew: I call it done
[19:07] [Chair]Eddy: Thanks everyone, *bangs gavel* Done!
