[19:00] [Chair]Eddy: Thanks for coming everyone, looks like we got
      everyone but James
      [19:00] [Chair]Eddy: I'll start with Content

      [19:01] [Chair]Eddy: Data FREQs: 4 for 5.14 (53 Total, -2 since last
      [19:01] [Chair]Eddy: Data FREQ status:
[19:02] [Chair]Eddy: The last major FREQ to be done is to convert the
Turn Undead feature to ability objects, all the other SRD/RSRD class
features which used ADD:FEAT have been converted already.
      [19:02] [Chair]Eddy: New Data Development:
[19:02] [Chair]Eddy: The Paizo sets are in the impending release.
[19:02] [Chair]Eddy: The Darwin's World 2 datasets and gameMode are
pretty much ready to go into the release, just need to have the last
      dataset passed by OGL.
[19:02] [Chair]Eddy: AEG God's looks pretty good, no reason to think we
can't move that into the release in the next week or two.
      [19:02] [Chair]Eddy: Questions?
      [19:02] [Admin]Andrew: No... but a quick comment
      [19:02] [Chair]Eddy: sure
      [19:03] [Admin]Andrew: Forged in Magic - I'm back working on that. I'm
down to five files. and a little overhaul since I began. I should have
that ready in the next couple of weeks.
[19:03] [Chair]Eddy: Great, that's enough time to move it in
      [19:04] [Admin]Andrew: If others wouldn't mind to start taking a look -
      I'd appreciate any help
      [19:04] [Chair]Eddy: Can do.
      [19:04] [Admin]Andrew: that's it from me. thanks
[19:04] [Chair]Eddy: Cool, is Eric at his keyboard?
      [19:04] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Yep!
[19:05] [Chair]Eddy: Ready to go next?
      [19:05] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Can do . ..
      [19:05] [Chair]Eddy: Ok, you're up
      [19:05] [PR_SB]Maredudd: PL Report
[19:05] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Artwork and URL permissions letter went out
      three weeks ago.
      [19:05] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Letters sent to 32 Publishers (covering 34
Publishers), 8 positive responses, 1 negative, and 1 lets wait and see
      what the GSL says.
[19:05] [PR_SB]Maredudd: All leters went to publ;ishers for whom we have
[19:05] [PR_SB]Maredudd: All other publishers will come latter.
[19:06] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Necromancer wants to wait until they find out
more about the GSL before they commit.
      [19:06] *** [Code_SB]james has joined #pcgen.
      [19:06] jfrazierjr: hey James
      [19:06] [Admin]Andrew: Welcome James
      [19:06] [Code_SB]james: Hello everyone
[19:07] [PR_SB]Maredudd: On the GSL, Four NDA have been submitted, and
of those, I know two have been acjnolwledged.
      [19:07] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Hi James!
[19:07] [PR_SB]Maredudd: When the Licensing rep for WotC gets back in,
      hopefully we'll hear more.
[19:08] [PR_SB]Maredudd: PaulG. Do you have anything to say for OGL?
[19:09] [PR_SB]Maredudd: In the mean time, I'll wait an additional week
before I send out the next round of messages to those publishers I have
      already contacted.
[19:09] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Also, I have a request in to Paizo for
      permission to do PathfinderRPG.
[19:09] [OGL]Nylanfs: Nothing on my end, just got the DW2 Twisted set
      and am reviewing right now
[19:09] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Thats it for the PL Team and OGL, unless PaulG
      has something to add.
      [19:10] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Cool. Advertising Report
[19:10] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Press releases for for 5.13.11 went out as they
will for 5.13.12 later this week.
[19:10] [PR_SB]Maredudd: I am prepping the press release for 5.14 now,
though it is still several weeks, but I want to make sure this one is
loud enough. Beside the standard release new sites I am gathering a
list of additional sites to hit with the new about 5.14.Â
      [19:10] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Thats about it for me . . . Any questions?
      [19:10] [Chair]Eddy: Not from me
      [19:10] [Admin]Andrew: Sounds good...
[19:11] [Chair]Eddy: Andrew, shall we go to Admin next?
      [19:11] [Admin]Andrew: Sure - I'm as ready as I will be... :)
      [19:12] [Admin]Andrew: I'll start with WEB - Anestis and Kar haven't
sent me anything, so I can only assume they've been conversing with the
      volunteers and devising methods.
[19:13] [Admin]Andrew: The only other talk was deciding whether to try
out the other CMS, but as far as I know, nothing besides talk at this point.
[19:13] [Admin]Andrew: Any Questions for Web?
      [19:13] [Admin]Andrew: Release -
      [19:13] [Chair]Eddy: no questions but I have a comment
[19:13] [Arch_SB]thpr: We need to get an update from Kar on that
      [19:13] [Arch_SB]thpr: meaning the Web
[19:13] [Arch_SB]thpr: sent to the BoD list
[19:14] [Chair]Eddy: I created a yahoo group this afternnon for the web
      development team
      [19:14] [Chair]Eddy: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/pcgen_webteam/
      [19:14] [Admin]Andrew: Cool
[19:14] [Chair]Eddy: Meant to do that sooner but it got away from me
[19:14] [Chair]Eddy: I'll post details to the BoD list
[19:14] [Admin]Andrew: Real life has been annoying of late. so that is
      very understandable.
[19:15] [Chair]Eddy: Yeah, works been heavy
[19:15] [Admin]Andrew: Okay, I will send an inquiry to Kar on the web
status. Unfortunately Anestis didn't give me anything for tonight so I'm
      out of the loop.
[19:16] [Admin]Andrew: Release - James sent out the notice. 5.13.12 is
just around the corner. Please give a good test run.
      [19:17] [Admin]Andrew: Any comments James?
[19:17] [Code_SB]james: I'll be starting the release in about 5 hours so
      be quick!
[19:17] [Admin]Andrew: Cool deal... Any questions for Release?
      [19:17] [Admin]Andrew: Trackers -
[19:18] [Admin]Andrew: We have a few trackers that have gone stale...
Please double check which trackers are assigned to you.
[19:19] [Admin]Andrew: I think I'll have Kar and myself go through the
list over the next few weeks and weed them and bring them up to speed.
[19:19] [Admin]Andrew: Also, please see Tom's tracker list and help him
out if possible. I've taken one, and will try and complete it real soon.
[19:20] [Admin]Andrew: All his relate to CDOM, and will help.
[19:20] jfrazierjr: Eddy, Kar did some work in Inititative this past
week and there is an open tracker for init order. Can you double check
to see if perhaps his fix might have fixed your issue also?
[19:20] [Admin]Andrew: Any questions for Tracker?
      [19:20] [Chair]Eddy: SUre
      [19:20] [Chair]Eddy: Sure (I'll check, no questions)
[19:20] [Arch_SB]thpr: I just have one comment - for those that are not
      code monkeys
[19:21] [Arch_SB]thpr: the items that are "Behavioral Testing" in the
"Next Release Steps" are things that anyone with some basic LST
      knowledge can do
[19:21] [Arch_SB]thpr: so those are prime items for people to help us
out and give the developers more bandwidth to actually code
[19:22] [Admin]Andrew: Cool, thanks Tom. That's it for Admin. Over to
      you Eddy.
[19:22] [Chair]Eddy: OK, Tom shall we got to ARCH next?
[19:22] [Arch_SB]thpr: I've been pretty sparse for the last two weeks
[19:22] [Arch_SB]thpr: so I have little new to report
[19:23] [Arch_SB]thpr: we do have new rules for the CDOM branch, though
[19:23] [Arch_SB]thpr: in addition to actually compiling, people should
make sure that changes do not break any of the base CDOM tests
[19:23] [Arch_SB]thpr: all of the tests in the utest (and as of about 10
minutes ago, the itest directory) should pass
[19:23] [Arch_SB]thpr: failure to do that, and I'll roll back the
changes to a known good state for us to work from
[19:24] [Arch_SB]thpr: any items that go into pcgen.base.* should target
100% docs and unit test code coverage
[19:24] [Arch_SB]thpr: Kar will be chasing folks who don't do that
[19:24] [Arch_SB]thpr: (and yes, some of mine aren't up that high, but
in total, pcgen.base.* is something like 85% today)
[19:24] [Admin]Andrew: Last I heard he rounded up the ninja monkeys....
[19:25] [Arch_SB]thpr: I think James also has an autobuild running in
the CDOM branch to report any build / test issues
[19:25] [Arch_SB]thpr: I saw something come across -devel related to that :)
[19:25] [Code_SB]james: Yes that is correct
[19:25] [Code_SB]james: It is always watching, or at least when my home
      PC is on
      [19:25] [Arch_SB]thpr: so short report - I think that's it for arch
      [19:25] [Arch_SB]thpr: any questions?
[19:26] [Code_SB]james: Tom, have you added the itests to the quicktest
ant target? That way they will be run by the autobuild
      [19:26] [Arch_SB]thpr: not yet
[19:26] [Arch_SB]thpr: I will see if I can figure that out
      [19:26] [Code_SB]james: Thanks
[19:26] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Tom, when you say 100% docs coverage are you
      talking about the user docs?
      [19:26] [Arch_SB]thpr: no
      [19:26] [Arch_SB]thpr: code docs
      [19:26] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Got it. Thaks!
      [19:26] [Arch_SB]thpr: meaning javadoc
[19:27] [Arch_SB]thpr: and more importantly than the javadoc, the other
comments in the code that point out weird things
[19:27] [Arch_SB]thpr: the "why" that can't be answered by reading the code
[19:27] [Arch_SB]thpr: We've lost a lot of that in developer transitions
in the 1.x-5.x code and I'd at least like the 6.x foundation to be strong
      [19:27] [PR_SB]Maredudd: And I'm all about that kind of docs too . . .:-)
      [19:28] [Admin]Andrew: Question...
[19:28] [Admin]Andrew: Speaking of Docs, did we ever get something basic
for creating the docs in xml?? Is that even Arch related? (Sorry if it
      [19:29] [Arch_SB]thpr: that's more of a longer term project
[19:29] [Arch_SB]thpr: I never got a volunteer to look at coding
something like that, so it will probably have to wait until after 6.0
[19:29] [Admin]Andrew: Bummer, that sounded very nice too.
      [19:30] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Yeah. Al,ost makes whish I could code java . .
      . :-)
      [19:30] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Or PERL . . .
      [19:31] [Arch_SB]thpr: Anything else
      [19:31] [Admin]Andrew: I'm good thanks.
[19:31] [Code_SB]james: Tom, did you need another compatability checker
zip created for Barak to test with?
[19:32] [Arch_SB]thpr: you could do that
[19:32] [Arch_SB]thpr: He may be able to build it now
[19:32] [Code_SB]james: I'd assume not, just to be safe
      [19:32] [Arch_SB]thpr: I think there was a compile problem before that I
didn't see because I hadn't run an update
[19:32] [Arch_SB]thpr: ok, then yes, he'll need a new zip
      [19:32] [Code_SB]james: ok
[19:32] [Code_SB]james: I might add a new ant task for it then
[19:33] [Arch_SB]thpr: I'd prefer to see if we can debug his build
[19:33] [Arch_SB]thpr: he had it working in Sept/Oct
[19:33] [Code_SB]james: Right, that might have beent he issue
[19:34] [Arch_SB]thpr: Build it for now, but we can also encourage him
to try an update and build
[19:34] [Arch_SB]thpr: since that's really what we want to have happen
[19:35] [Arch_SB]thpr: otherwise, we'll die of zip building
[19:35] [Chair]Eddy: Shall we go to James next?
      [19:36] [Code_SB]james: Sure
[19:36] [Code_SB]james: OK, code status is
      [19:36] [Code_SB]james: Bugs: 6 fixed, 39 open for 5.14
[19:36] [Code_SB]james: Feature requests: 1 closed, 2 still open for
      5.14 but progressing
      [19:36] [Code_SB]james: Plugin bugs: 7 fixed, 7 open for 5.14
[19:36] [Code_SB]james: Plugin feature requests: 0 closed, 0 still open
      for 5.14
[19:38] [Code_SB]james: with the 5.13.12 release I'd like to see if the
SERVESAS code is far enough along to satisfy CMP's needs. I'd like to
get all feature requests wrapped up before the 5.13.13 release
[19:38] [Code_SB]james: Otherwise I think we just need to knock off a
bunch more bugs before we are in position for the 5.14 release from the
      code perspective
[19:39] [Code_SB]james: To that end I have done some triage and posted a
list of simpler bugs to fix on the dev list. Anyone is welcome to grab
one of these and fix it.
[19:40] [Code_SB]james: Still that means we have 30 or so reasonably
involved bugs to sort out in the next 6 weeks or so - not a small task
      [19:41] [Code_SB]james: Any questions?
      [19:41] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Six weeks?
[19:41] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Is that the target for 5.14?
      [19:41] [Code_SB]james: yep
      [19:42] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Thanks!
[19:42] [Code_SB]james: and that is an extension of a week or so I think
[19:42] [Code_SB]james: from what we discussed earlier, but I can't see
      us needing less than that
      [19:43] [Code_SB]james: Suggestion is:
      [19:43] [Code_SB]james: 5.13.12 beta - 25th March
      [19:43] [Code_SB]james: 5.13.13 beta - 7th April
      [19:43] [Code_SB]james: 5.14.0 RC 1 - 21st April
      [19:43] [Code_SB]james: 5.14.0 RC 2 - 28th April
      [19:43] [Code_SB]james: 5.14.0 prod release - 4th May
      [19:45] [Admin]Andrew: Sounds good...
[19:45] [PR_SB]Maredudd: That will give us over three months before
      GenCon . . .
[19:46] [Arch_SB]thpr: Well, at some point we'll probably be thinking a
[19:46] [Arch_SB]thpr: esp. with the CMP support end approaching
[19:46] [Chair]Eddy: Yeah, we'll want to keep the 5.14 branch up to date
[19:47] [PR_SB]Maredudd: How long does it usually take to get ebough
'fixes' for a .1 on a production release?
      [19:47] [Code_SB]james: Very true
[19:47] [Arch_SB]thpr: Depends on how many problems there are
[19:47] [Code_SB]james: Mostly depends on what people report after release
[19:47] [Code_SB]james: So both volume and severity
      [19:47] [Chair]Eddy: exactly
[19:48] [Code_SB]james: Could be a day if there is a show stopper :)
[19:48] [Arch_SB]thpr: I expect the number of token changes combined
with the new chooser system will develop a decent list
      [19:48] [Arch_SB]thpr: :)
[19:48] [Code_SB]james: Could be a month or two if not
[19:48] [Chair]Eddy: but this time it's a little more important since
      it's the last CMP update
      [19:48] [Code_SB]james: yes
[19:49] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Ok. Thanks. Just trying to keep my eye on CDs
      for GenCon . . .
[19:49] [Chair]Eddy: We're doing pretty good, time wise tonight. Does
anyone have any adgenda items? I didn't see any posted
[19:49] [Arch_SB]thpr: you should probably back out the production times
and determine the "drop dead" date
[19:49] [Code_SB]james: Best to set out some decision dates for Gencon
CDs so we don;t get caught out
[19:49] [Arch_SB]thpr: just so we have that understanding early on to
determine when we trigger .1, .2, etc
      [19:49] [Admin]Andrew: Yes
[19:50] [Arch_SB]thpr: my only concern was the web stuff, which I got
the action to have Kar chased, so nothing from me for the open agenda items
      [19:51] [Admin]Andrew: Chase Kar - Check.
[19:51] [Admin]Andrew: My impromptu was the inclusion of conditional
      Skill for the dwarves
      [19:51] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Only item I can think of is GenCon itself . . .
      [19:51] jfrazierjr: later guys
      [19:51] [Admin]Andrew: Bye Joe
      [19:51] [Chair]Eddy: Bye Joe
[19:51] *** jfrazierjr has signed off IRC ("Do fish get thirsty?").
      [19:51] [Code_SB]james: Cya Joe
[19:52] [Admin]Andrew: Does anyone have a copy of Faeries?
[19:52] [Chair]Eddy: Andrew, the dwarf skill is no big deal, open a
tracker and I'll add that one to the others we already have
      [19:52] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Yep. I was just looking at that tracker . . . :-)
      [19:52] [OGL]Nylanfs: I do
[19:52] [Admin]Andrew: We need to get Faeries finished ... :)
      [19:52] [Chair]Eddy: What's left on it?
[19:53] [PR_SB]Maredudd: There are a few questions that need to be
answered by the publisher . ..
[19:53] [Admin]Andrew: Looks like a few confusing items... and publisher
[19:53] [PR_SB]Maredudd: Then the set updated.
[19:53] [Admin]Andrew: Tracker created and ready for the dwarves.
[19:53] [Chair]Eddy: Considering the property has changed hands, is the
publisher going to be able to answer?
      [19:54] [Admin]Andrew: [ 1375795 ] [Bastion Press] Faeries cleanup
      [19:54] [PR_SB]Maredudd: They said they'd give it a shot . . .
      [19:54] [Chair]Eddy: Cool!
[19:54] [Admin]Andrew: 1924816 Add contional skill for Dwarven
[19:54] [PR_SB]Maredudd: He knows we have questions, but we havn't had
the time to get with him yet.
[19:55] [PR_SB]Maredudd: That tracker was next on my plate to tackle,
      after AEG Gods.
      [19:57] [Chair]Eddy: Hey Andrew
      [19:57] [Chair]Eddy: have a look at this:
      [19:58] [Chair]Eddy: seems simliar
      [19:58] [Admin]Andrew: Yeah, it does...
[19:59] [Chair]Eddy: a temp bonus is a different way to handle the
      problem though
[19:59] [Admin]Andrew: But it doesn't address the Search Bonus. That is
      talking about the Craft Skills
      [19:59] [Chair]Eddy: right
[20:00] [Admin]Andrew: I think the skill can be done the same as the
rest. The Skill Bonuses for Stone and Metal is debateble.
[20:01] [Admin]Andrew: We already have that included. So may as well
      leave it in.
[20:01] [Admin]Andrew: USer tend to complain when something is percieved
as missing. Not much cry when it's there.
[20:01] [Chair]Eddy: Yeah, once it's done I think that invalidates this
      tracker, I'll delete it
      [20:01] [Admin]Andrew: ok.
      [20:02] [Chair]Eddy: Any other topics?
      [20:02] [Admin]Andrew: I think that's it for me.
[20:02] [Admin]Andrew: Tom, James, Eric, Paul?
      [20:03] [Arch_SB]thpr: I'm set
[20:03] [Code_SB]james: Everyone read over the release notes and happy
      with them?
      [20:03] [Chair]Eddy: Sure did
      [20:03] [PR_SB]Maredudd: I'm ok with them . . .
      [20:03] [Admin]Andrew: not yet.
[20:03] [Code_SB]james: Cool thanks for that
      [20:03] [Chair]Eddy: Great, we're done in an hour for a change :-)
      [20:03] [Admin]Andrew: Yeah, very cool
[20:04] [Chair]Eddy: Thanks everyone... *bangs gavel*
