If by slotless you mean an item which does not get put into any of the
defined slots then yes you can. It is as simple as not giving the item any
of the TYPEs which belong to a particular slot. An item without any of these
can be 'Equipped' to the character and confer any benefits coded into it but
no limits will be placed on how many of such items the character can have.
I just realized you might not be talking about coding data files but are
working directly in the program. You can do this by customizing an item
which does not use any defined slots. You may have to trick the program if
you are creating an item with magic powers, most of those Equipment
Modifiers are keyed to the slot types. You might be able to customize an
item with no slot types, choose add TYPE and add a slot type (like say
Amulet), add the particular magical enhancements you want and then remove
the Amulet type. I haven't tried this but it might work. Hope this helps.
