Hi.  I have just started using PCgen and  I like the program a lot.  I have a question though.  I would like to simulate rolling 2D6+6 for rolling stats.  Is this possible?  I have tried doing this by putting the stat minimum at 8.  It doesn't seem to have any effect.  Am I going about it the wrong way?
Thanks in advance  for any help!

Tools will have a die roller at the bottom of the tab. It won't show
you the individual die rolls (yet), but it will do simple things,
        like roll 2d6+6 for you

backpack 1st. Equip the backpack. Go to "Location" box and click on
that, you should now have an option to put the winter blanket in the
              back pack.

Scroll to the right in the equipment tab to see what each type of
              container can hold. :)

independant of a class. All I want to do is add aditional 'spells'
from the Psion college. Is there a way around the limits set in the
                    program?
I found it odd that the wizard spells added in any configuration but
                    not the Psion.
We are playing with the variant 'psionics are different'

                    Any help would be appreciated.

I'm new to PCGen and I have a question. I can't seem to get PCGen to
recognize my bonus skill point per level for being a human (it says I
have a max of 6 for a human wizard with an 18 Int, when I'm fairly
certain that I should be getting 7). I'm using the new Pathfinder
data set and I've looked through the FAQ and searched the posts, but I
haven't been able to determine the answer. Anyone had this issue

This is a first to my knowledge. I quickly reviewed the set and the
gamemode, and a cursory glance shows everything to be in place.

I then loaded up the set and made a wizard, non-specialist level 2, with
an int of 18 as well. I got 7 skill pts per level as expected. This is
                        using 5.17.0-dev & 5.16.1.

Which version of PCGen are you using?
What steps are you doing to get the results?

Have you modified or are loading any homebrew or other sets?

things to be done. I gave him a 16 Int boosted +2 with the human
ability boost for an 18 Int. The languages work correctly (i.e. 4),
so I believe the 18 Int is being recognized. It also recognized my
bonus human feat at 1st level.

I haven't done any modifications or loaded any other data sets. I

Ah, that would explain it. Unless it s granted by the race, the +2 to INT won t add to Skill Ranks. I m not sure if that follows the Pathfinder Rules or not

Unless it's granted by the race, the +2 to INT won't add to Skill Ranks. I'm not sure if that follows the Pathfinder Rules or not though.

I'll have to look it up unless some else knows the answer off hand.

There is a way to fix that. If your homebrew says the human +2 intelligence counts towards skill points, then you would just put a prexxx tag on the BONUS to the stat inside the RACE itself.

Again, let me find out if this is following the rules or not.

Basically it's just Intelligence-based stuff that need to be handled
carefully. One other thing is, add all bonus languages before adding the
                                      second class level.

Also you can never be wrong if you fill all ability pools on the racial
ability tab before adding a class.

                                      Stefan.
