Great to see Sidewinder: Recoiled make it's debut in 5.7.4. However,
in the Settings - Game Mode there is no Sidewinder: Recoiled option so
the Sidewinder source never shows up as usable.

I think Sidewinder was going to have it's own game mode like Spycraft
has (that is how it worked on a early version of the data that
lonejedi let me take a peek at), but it isn't there in 5.7.4. Is
there an easy to add a Game Mode for Sidewinder, that I could do myself?

Thanks for all the hard work,

      Max

Full story on Sidewinder: Recoiled. It came to the data team not
through the usually pipeline, and was asked to be fast-tracked by the
        PL.

After realizing that the ONLY difference between Sidewinder and
Modern GameModes was the removal of the spell tabs (Spells and
Domains), we decided to merge it all into Modern, and go with that.

Since the files were mostly copy/paste and slight modifications of
Modern files, I dropped RSRD and 5.8 stuff for a while and spent
about 40+ man-hours making it merge nicely with MSRD LST files
and .MODing to get SOURCEPAGE info to the Recoiled numbers and other
functionality exactly the same as the set that was handed me. I
fixed a few minor syntax bugs while I was at it (too bad I don't
        remember them now.)

I was in final testing when Doug did his MSRD update commits.
Literally: it was a matter of like 2 hours after Doug did his commit
when I did a CVS update with the intention of starting a final test
and commit for Recoiled and noticed many objects had changed. Since
those commits have been in the works for several months, and Doug has
told me he was "nearly done" with it MANY times over the past months,
I wasn't expecting it. A number of objects changed, and instead of
spending more hours trying to move Sidewinder to play nice with the
MSRD set, I punted the set over to Doug.

At this point, since Doug never committed it, I will be adding
Recoiled into /alpha, and requesting a clean-up tracker for the set
to merge it with MSRD references later on.

For those people that play Sidewinder, would it be better to have it
in it's own GameMode sans spellcasting tabs, or with the Modern? We
have tried to keep the number of GameModes to a minimum since many
GMs migrate items over from similar campaign settings, etc. If
people want it to have it's own GameMode, I can commit that to
the /system/GameMode folder over on the PCGen repository at the same
        time...

It would be best to be on it's own actually...

I was wondering.. Has anyone else had problems getting the Basic Classes form
showing up when they are trying to make a character using the program?

Seems that the following Source File is corrupt:
            Error parsing file
            'file:/C:/PCGEN_release_574/data/alpha/mongoose/encyclopediaarcane/enchantment/enchantment_feats.lst'
line '4': Unable to parse a prerequisite: 'PRESPELLSCHOOL,Enchantment,1,3'
            is a badly formatted prereq.

This error was displayed in the Loading Data Files screen (which I like by
the way). I am unsure how to recover from this. For now, I will unload
the Mongoose Source for Fey Magic.

            Thanks for a great product...
