Trackers and bits
- Based upon my recent request for Tracker Monkeys
The tracker monkeys are the ones that, among other things, help
monitor this group for bugs and feature requests. We got two
volunteers and hopefully we'll get them up to speed very quickly. We
also got a volunteer for the data team. If you find PCGen useful,
and you think it'd be more useful if only [blah] was
done/improved/clearer, then I'll be quite happy to put you to work.
Nothing motivates someone to work on PCGen than when it means it will
be more useful for their own campaign. :) Some people also like to
involve themselves in a project that helps lots of other people out.
I'll take whatever volunteers I can get and I appreciate everyone's
effort! My main concern recently has been making sure we don't let
bug reports slip through the cracks here. It would be great to have
a few more people to help out with monitoring this group for bug
reports, confirming that the bug exists, making sure it hasn't
already been submitted at sourceforge, and then entering it and
making sure the person who reported the bug knows it's been
submitted. If you want to volunteer for this group, or for any of
the other groups, let me know! There's no shortage of stuff that
needs to be done. :) If you're especially good with xml/xsl, we can
find something for you to do with the output sheets - soon we hope to
make good progress in moving our data to xml, and we'll definitely
need gurus to help out with that transition!
