I just found this program, I like it much better than the demo from
        the PHB.

One thing though, I was creating a dwarven fighter and I chose a
breastplate and large steel shield as his armor. Firstly, the armor
check penalty for both the lg steel and lg wooden shield should be -2
not -1 (I was able to change that in the equipment list). Secondly,
the armor check penalties for the breastplate and shield should add
together for a combined armor check penalty of -6, but it only counts
        the -4 from the breastplate.

As for a feature request, you can stick this one near the bottom, but
I was hoping for two point buy systems for stats. The one out of the
DMG and just a straight one to one buying system. Again, you can file
that towards the bottom of the list since you have the unlimited pool
checkbox, but it would be nice to see.

        Thanks,
        David

I don't have my PHB handy, so I'll assume you're correct on the -2 vs
-1 for the large shields. And you're right about the Armor check
penalties apparently not summing both armor AND shield penalties. Or,
as I think about it, does that stack? I'll have to check that out - I
believe the blurb about armor checks above the armor listing said
which penalties stacked and which ones did not.

The way I intend to implement purchase methods is letting the user
define how much each stat increase costs. For your purposes it would
be 1 across the board. As you add stats the pool will simply indicate
how many points you've spent - and this will be saved with your
character so the DM can verify the total.

Would it be possible for additional spellbooks (which are supposed so
be different sets of prepared spells) to have PCgen check for
specialist wizards if at least one of the prepared spells is from
the specialist school of that char? And support for the metamagic
feats would be great, too... maybe by selecting a feat from the metamagic feats
the char has when adding spells to a "prepared spells" list.

Hey - that sounds good. I don't think I have anything like that in my
Features Requests.txt file (Bugs and Features folder in the Files
page). I don't handle the bonus spells for being a Specialist OR for
domains yet, so some thought needs to be put into that - I'd prefer
it was a solution that worked for both. Your suggestion would work
for mosts cases, but not cases where a Domain bonus spell wasn't
normally available to clerics (or of the same spell level). Maybe a
meta-magic button? I'm not sure what would be convenient there - I'm
                open to suggestions!

It should default to the method on pages 19-20 in the DMG
however. Since this is in the rules and is official for the
RPGA. It's also become a standard in most PBeM and online
games. As well as reached wide acceptance in home games if
                  web-forum discussions are any indication.

Also note that currently it is the number one asked for
feature. So it might be good to boost it up a little on the
                  priority scale. :)

                  3 points for 17 and 18
