RE: [pcgen] Commoner Skills and Printing a Character Sheet
DO NOT change the feature of outputting to an HTML file! LOL I hope that never changes. AS it stands now, I can use Frontpage XP to edit the file and make it look exactly like I want and/or fix bugs with the same font.

Saving and printing are two different options. When you press the "Save"
button, a file with the same name as your character, and the extension "PCG"
is created in your program directory.
As for printing, PCGen itself doesn't actually print. It creates a file
which can be viewed in your browser, and printed from there if you wish.
There is a button at the bottom of the screen labeled "PCSheet". This
button displays a popup box which allows you to choose the template to be
used, usually an HTML file. You should be able to see several files that
start with the string "csheet", these are the actual templates.
Double-click on one of them, and PCGen will create a file with the same name
as your character, along with whatever appears *after* the "csheet" string
in the template name, with an extension of "HTML".
For instance, if your character's name is "Mighty Elmo Amoeba Slayer", the
file in which the character's info is saved will be "Mighty Elmo Amoeba
Slayer.pcg" (if your OS supports long file names). If you choose the
"csheetROG.html" printing template, the name of the saved print file will be
"Mighty Elmo Amoeba Slayer_ROG.html". You can view this file in your
browser, and print it from there.
